Before you pull out your torches and pitchforks, I want to say that I love Geforce Now. The service is great. However, I'm bothered by the Geforce Now fanboyism that I'm starting to see in my personal life.

It feels like we're all simple mammals prone to repeating the same patterns over and over again. First, we had the great Xbox vs PlayStation wars of the 2000's. Then it was Windows vs Linux. Now we seem to do this pretty much the same thing to every little thing.

We need to take a deep breath, a step back, and realize that we are being played by these companies. They prey on our emotions and loyalties, and we're nerds, damnit. We're smarter than that. (I truly believe this btw. You're one smart nugget, and I love you for it.)
